Headquartered in launching a special Spring Festival initiative themed Light Connects the Desert, Clouds Gather for the Spring Festival, we brought a distinctive celebration to employees stationed at the base. Amid a rich festive atmosphere, Chinese and foreign staff celebrated together, gathering momentum for surging production capacity and improved management at the factory in the new year.
As a vital pivot for ESET SOLAR Energy’s Production + Service global expansion, the Saudi Base was commissioned and put into operation at the end of 2025, successfully delivering the first batch of goods for the PIF6 Project. It has written a remarkable chapter of Chinese enterprise in the Middle East new energy market. Taking the Spring Festival as an opportunity, this event is not only a tribute to all employees for their joint efforts, but also a bright expectation for the future development of the base.
This event deeply integrated traditional Chinese customs with local Saudi characteristics, highlighting an inclusive and open corporate culture.The venue was decorated with lanterns and streamers, full of festive charm; the melodies of the Spring Festival blended with traditional Saudi music.The dumpling-making session became a heartwarming experience of cross-cultural communication — friendship quietly bloomed as skills were taught and gestures imitated.During interactive games, the popping balloons sounded like firecrackers, lifting the atmosphere to a climax.
The New Year’s Eve dinner strictly followed halal standards. Considering the local holy month, the feast was scheduled after sunset to respect local customs. Chinese festive delicacies and local traditional dishes were served together, bridging the distance between Chinese and foreign employees through the blending of flavors.
When the countdown bell rang for the new year, all Chinese and foreign employees cheered together to welcome the arrival of the Spring Festival.This Spring Festival event not only let Chinese employees at the Saudi base feel care and reunion across mountains and seas, but also enabled Chinese and Saudi cultures to collide in exchange and sublimate in integration.
